How Real Estate Agents Earn Their Commissions

We sometimes are asked if we will reduce our commissions to sell a home. I'll come back to that later, but before I do, it's important to know the benefits of working with a real estate agent. First, on average, sellers who list their home with an agent sell for a higher price. They also are much more likely to avoid expensive mistakes by not knowing the law, or their protections under the law. And they generally are sold much faster. Below is a graphic of all the things an agent will do to sell your home.

So, getting back to the question of whether we will reduce our commission. Which of these things do you want us to eliminate?
