Autumn Client Appreciation Event
Wally and I strive to give unmatched quality service with every communication & transaction. One of the ways that we say "thanks" to our clients is to introduce them to a Special Event in the Community at least once a year. On Saturday, October 19th, on a balmy autumn afternoon, our clients attended the 1st Annual Sedona Red Rocks Oktoberfest. Clients received VIP passes that got them a front row seat for the entertainment, glass beer steins, free beer, grilled brats, and German potato salad.

Wally and I thank all of our clients who have referred us  to their friends and family for their real estate needs. We look forward to 2014 -- greeting new clients at the event -- and another intriguing outing with friends!

SEDONA'S Real Estate Market has much to be Grateful for this Thanksgiving Season!    

1. Homes are Selling at $206 a square foot vs. $181 in 2012.   

 

2. Days on the Market in 2013 average 227 vs. 253 in 2012. 

 

3. Sales Price to List Price ratio in 2013 is 96%.

   

4. REO's (35) make up only 9.9% of 2013 Sales (lowest since 4th quarter 2008)

 

5. Short Sales (20) make up 5.6% of 2013 Sales.

6. 28 Luxury Homes have sold in 2013 with a median recorded sales price of $1,257,000, an average square foot selling price of $350, and average days on the market is 470.

7. 108 Vacant lots have sold to date vs. 95 in all of 2012. Days on market for land in Sedona is 397 and the sales price to list price ratio is 91%.

This year the community has come together to provide special holiday events & festive decorations which will resemble a Red Rock Winter Wonderland throughout the entire month of December.  The kick-off event for this elaborate celebration started when the Capitol Christmas Tree was on display at Posse Grounds Park on 11-14.

  • 12/6: First Friday Gallery Tour at Participating Sedona Galleries 
  • 12/7: Breakfast with Santa and Jingle Bell Run at the Sedona Teen Center
  • 12/7: The Nutcracker by the Sedona Chamber Ballet Company 
  • 12/14: Festival of Lights at Tlaquepaque
  • 12/20-12/21: Holiday Sweet Stroll at Tlaquepaque
  • 12/21: "A Christmas Carol" reading at Sedona Heritage Museum
