Our local real estate market remains relatively flat compared to last year. The first half of the year was very slow, but things have picked up. The number of vacant lots sold has finally caught up to last year, but remember that 2015 was very slow compared to 2013 in that area. And while the number of lots sold has gone up, the median sales price has gone down by 7%. The other area that is lagging is the sales of luxury homes. Prices haven't changed much, but the number of sales of homes over $1,000,000 is down to 11, compared to 19 in the same time frame last year. For more stats, go to our Market Statistics page.
