Below are market statistics for sales of homes and land in Sedona for the first half of 2017. Each category is also compared to the same time period the year before. Sales increased for homes priced under $1,000,000, with 242 sales compared to 192 last year, a whopping increase of 26% The median sales price jumped to $502,250 from a year ago when it was $468,400, and average price per square foot is up 5%. Sales of luxury homes have increased dramatically, with 20 closed compared to 9 in 2016 . Vacant land sales have increased from 55 to 80, and the price has risen by 17%.
