Below are market statistics for sales of homes and land in Sedona as of the third quarter, 2017. Each category is also compared to the same time period the year before. Sales increased for homes priced under $1,000,000, with 403 sales compared to 347 last year, a healthy increase of 16% The median sales price jumped to $555,000 from a year ago when it was $515,000, and average price per square foot is up 8%. Sales of luxury homes have continued, with 39 closed compared to 29 in 2017 and only 11 in 2016 Vacant land sales have increased from 114 to 131, but the price has has actually dipped by by 4%.
