Below are market statistics for sales of homes and land in Sedona for the calendar year of 2018. Each category is also compared to the same time period the year before. Sales increased for homes priced under $1,000,000, with 511 sales compared to 465 last year, a healthy increase of 10% The median sales price jumped to $565,000 from a year ago when it was $525,000, and average price per square foot is up 9%. Sales of luxury homes have continued to rise, with 54 closed compared to 38 in 2017 and only 25 in 2016. Vacant land sales have increased from 141 to 173, and the price has increased by by 7%.
