Below are market statistics for sales of homes and land in Sedona for the first five months of 2019. Each category is also compared to the same time period the year before. Sales decreased for homes priced under $1,000,000, with 191 sales compared to 218 last year, a decrease of 12%. The median sales price also dropped to $555,000 from a year ago when it was $570.000, and average price per square foot is up 8%. Sales of luxury homes are a bright spot with 25 closed compared to 21 in 2018. Vacant land sales also decreased from 77 to 58, but the median price has increased by 12%.
