Below are market statistics for sales of homes and land in Sedona for the first eight months of 2020. Each category is also compared to the same time period the year before. Sales for homes priced under $1,000,000 are up over 10% compared to last year, with 368 sales compared to 333 last year. Considering that the market was nearly shut down for a couple of months, that's remarkable. The median sales price increased to $598,675 from a year ago when it was $559.000, while average price per square foot increased by 5%.. Sales of luxury homes increased to 54 closed compared to 44 in 2019. Vacant land sales decreased from 91 to 83, but with the low inventory of homes, sales are picking up and the median price has increased by 12%.
