I just came across an interesting article in CNN Money about costs that are often overlooked by many home buyers during the buying process. So if you're thinking about purchasing a home, and are in the process of developing a budget, this will be a good resource for you. To summarize, there are four things that are often missed. They are (1) the inspection, (2) pro-rations for taxes, insurance, association fees, etc., (3) moving, and (4) set up costs like new keys, utilities and deposits.
